Terms of Service — Agent-Shield

1. The service

Agent-Shield provides automated security scanning of text content via an API

and an MCP server endpoint. It returns threat assessments produced by

deterministic detection rules (analyzer heuristic_v5; the version is

returned with each scan).

2. What the service is not

Not a guarantee. A clean verdict means no known threat patterns were

detected — it is not a certification that content is safe. A malicious

verdict is a high-confidence signal, not proof of attack. You remain

responsible for how you act on scanned content.

Not a substitute for your own security review, access controls, or

compliance obligations.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service to scan content you do not have the right to process.
Attempt to reverse-engineer detection rules for the purpose of evading

comparable protections.

Abuse the API (excessive request rates, credential sharing beyond your

plan) — we may rate-limit or suspend keys that degrade the service.

4. API keys

Keys are issued per account and must be kept confidential. You are

responsible for activity under your keys. Contact us promptly if a key is

compromised so it can be revoked and reissued.

5. Billing

The Pro plan is $19 per month, billed through Stripe, and activates with the

semantic classifier launch — you will not be charged before then. You can

cancel at any time; on cancellation your key returns to the free tier at the

end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for

partial months; if you cancel, the plan stays active until the period ends.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not

guarantee uptime. Detection rules may be updated at any time; material

behavior changes will be noted in the analyzer version returned with each

scan (heuristic_v1, etc.).

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agent-Shield is not liable for

indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the

service, including threats the service did not detect. Total liability is

limited to amounts you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the

claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. On termination your API keys are

revoked; aggregate records are deleted per the Privacy Policy retention

schedule.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without

regard to conflict-of-law principles.
